Water Quality

Changing of the guard

Used filter on left after 1 year of use vs. brand new filter on right.

Would you prefer this filter to catch these contaminants, or your body?

(These are typical results from so-called treated Sydney water)

"How safe is the water we drink?" Just one read of this book by John Archer and you will realize not nearly as safe as we would think. There is not someone out there making sure that the water that comes out of the tap is for Optimal Health. WE must research it, and find out what harm can come from it. Like the old saying, "Buy a water filter or become one." Our liver and kidney's job is to filter out toxins from our bodies. The chlorine alone that the water board must use to kill bacteria, over time, accumulates in our system and makes it harder for the liver and kidneys to do their job.

Most people can remember the Cryptosporidium and Giardia scare in Sydney a few years ago. Well fortunately for me, my water filter was powerful enough to filter out all of them. I still got sick mind you because I drank from a bubbler in Chatswood once that I thought would have been filtered. The next day I was severely in pain and had the worst gastro I have ever had. I could not even keep water down and the doctor threatened to hospitalise me if I didn't drink within the next 6 hours, I tried very hard and was able to avoid a trip to the hospital but how many times have other people been diagnosed with "gastro" and not known it was caused by the tap water? Sydney Water surely doesn't want you to know. Funny, how once, they put out a flyer saying to boil the water before you used it in your fish tank as the chlorine could be harmful to your fish??...

I can confidently recommend you the best water filter that will cost you less then buying bottled water. Approximately .30 cents a litre to pay off the filter over the first year and then each year after that you only need to buy the replacement carbon filter and the cost drops down to .13 cents per litre. Try to buy bottled water for that and even still there is no guarantee that the quality is nearly as high in the bottled water.
